This is called “The Bloom”. It is a naturally occurring film that develops on 100% pure beeswax candles over time. It’s a sign of high-quality, unrefined wax, not a defect! It’s completely harmless, but if it bothers you it can be easily removed by gently wiping with a soft cloth.
Yes they do! They naturally have a subtle honey aroma. Unlike most candles on the market, pure beeswax candles do not have overpowering & synthetic fragrances. This makes beeswax candles the perfect option for those of us who like to stay away from artificial scents.
Less toxins, better burn. Hemp is the most sustainable, and cleanest wick material available. Unlike cotton, it requires minimal water, no pesticides or herbicides, and is very fast growing. And it creates a smooth, controlled burn that is less likely to sputter, collapse, or burn too quickly.
Putting aside environmental factors (such as drafts), expect a beeswax candle to burn roughly twice as long as paraffin candles of similar size, and significantly longer than soy candles of a similar size (20-40% longer)
My mom always taught me that “if it isn’t broken, don’t fix it!”. So, simply put, no we have no plans to extend into any colored or scented options. The beautiful golden color and subtle honey aroma are exactly why we started this journey, and we don’t see a need to change that.
